Out of school—into medicine
Students in grades 10 through 13 are cordially invited to participate in an online series of events focused on studying medicine. The series offers practical insights into the application process, selection criteria, and new test formats.
To kick things off, an online event will take place on May 19, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Topics will include the application and selection process for medical school, as well as testimonials from students at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg and Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg.
Another session will follow on November 10, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The focus will be on the new Test for Medical Programs – Natural Sciences (TMSnat), which will take effect in 2027. The event will provide information on the structure, procedure, and registration process, as well as strategies for improving admission chances.
The Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians of Saxony-Anhalt, the Ministry of Education of the State of Saxony-Anhalt, and the Medical Association of Saxony-Anhalt are organizing this series of events, which outlines the path to studying medicine in Saxony-Anhalt.
